TERMS OF USE
allinlawfirm.ca and the trade name “All In Business Law”, are owned by David G. van Moorsel Professional Corporation (“DVMPC”).
By using or visiting the allinlawfirm.ca website or the Client Portal located at https://goallin.airportal.app/ (collectively referred to as the “Website”) and contacting us through the Website, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below (the “Terms”) and our Privacy Policy located here (the “Privacy Policy”). If you do not agree to be bound by and comply with the Terms and the Privacy Policy, you are not permitted to use access or otherwise use the Website.
No Solicitor-Client Relationship
Your access to and use of the Website, including but not limited to any forms, contact information, links, or other features of the Website, does not result in the creation of a solicitor-client relationship, fiduciary relationship, or other professional-client relationship between you and DVMPC, or any of its lawyers, partners, employees or consultants. No solicitor-client relationship will be created until DVMPC, or any of its lawyers have agreed to represent you. That means entering into a formal retainer agreement or Registered Office Agreement. Mere confirmation that your form has been successfully submitted, a meeting scheduled, or user account created is not sufficient for these purposes.
Limitations on Legal Advice Provided
As lawyers registered to practice law in the Province of Alberta, our legal advice is limited to the laws of the Province of Alberta, and the federal laws of Canada. We cannot and will not provide legal advice with respect to the laws of other provinces or jurisdictions.
Referrals and Referral Fees
Our law firm provides a limited set of services. There may be circumstances where we are unable to handle your file, such as the matter being outside of the scope of our normal practice, or due to capacity for new work. In such situations, we may refer you to another lawyer who we hope can assist. In some cases, we may receive a referral fee from the lawyer to whom your file is referred. In other cases, we may pay a referral fee to a lawyer or law firm that sends work our way. In either situation, the referral fee is subject to the Law Society of Alberta’s Code of Professional Conduct, which states that the payment of referral fees shall not result in an increase to the legal fees charged to the client. The referral fee is merely an incentive for us (or another lawyer) to help you find alternative legal counsel and to account for the time required to do so. We take steps to maintain the quality of our referrals, such as following up with clients to confirm their satisfaction with prior referrals given. By using this website and contacting us about your matter, you acknowledge and consent to the payment and receipt of such referral fees, and confirm that DVMPC does not participate in, and shall not be liable for the acts, omissions and advice of other lawyers.
Communication Through the Website
If you are not a client of DVMPC or a professional advisor such a client, and you choose to communicate with us through the Website, such communication may not be confidential or be covered by solicitor-client privilege or any other form of privilege. Although we take reasonable precautions to protect information that is submitted to us through the Website, communication and contact features of the Website may not be 100% secure, and the confidentiality and security of such communications cannot be guaranteed. As such, we ask that you not communicate any highly confidential information to us unless you or your clients have formally retained the services of DVMPC, and in any event, that you do not use the forms contained on the Website for the transmission of highly confidential or sensitive information. As a general matter, you should not send confidential or sensitive information by the Internet or e-mail unless you take appropriate precautions, such as the use of encryption.

The content, information and features available through the Website (the “Content”) does not constitute legal or other professional advice. You should seek appropriate, qualified professional advice before acting or omitting to act based upon any information provided on or through the Website or Client Portal. This includes but is not limited to obtaining advice from an accountant or financial advisor with respect to any tax, accounting and financial decisions.
